Terri Robinson

Terri Robinson is a native of Montgomery, AL and the daughter of Mr. Elbert Robinson and the late Valeria McGuire Robinson. Terri graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting in 2010 and a Master’s of Accountancy in 2011. Since 2011, Terri has been employed by The State of Alabama Department of Revenue as an auditor and currently holds the title of Foreign Audit Specialist II specializing in auditing Corporate Income Taxes for Fortune 500 companies that have business operations in Alabama. Through her everyday career duties, she’s getting to live out two of her dreams: 1.) getting to travel the world and 2.) being able to increase state revenues to help fund programs that benefit the community such as the education fund. She says that she couldn’t have been blessed with a better job as she is very passionate about what she does for a living.

In addition to her active involvement with Women in Touch, Terri Robinson is also an active member of That’s My Child (TMC) and the Rolling to the Polls (RTP) local initiative. Each program has similar interests of servicing the local area for the greater needs of the community. At TMC, Terri serves as a mentor in its Big Brother Big Sister mentorship program where she provides leadership, advice, and a helping hand to the younger mentees as needed. She also assists other volunteers and staff members of the program in other areas as needed. In July of 2018, Terri was asked by the organization to join That’s My Child’s Junior Executive Board which permits her the opportunity to help lead the vision of the organization which is “To see youth excel in life by becoming productive members of society and the future leaders of tomorrow.”

Terri also volunteers as needed with the local Rolling to the Polls (RTP) initiative which is a program designed to help educate members of the local community of their voting rights and help keep them informed of the upcoming elections. The RTP program also offers rides to the polls for eligible voters on election day.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and being a beautician. Terri is also a very creative thinker and writer and has plans of pursing non-profit grant writing so that she will be able to help the community at greater heights. Terri Robinson joined Women in Touch in 2018 because she was very excited about being a part of an all women organization that catered to giving back to the community in various ways. She unselfishly desires to use her everyday resources and talents to help the organization better meet its mission of providing leadership and service to the community.
